Waging War: Does God listen to prayer from those engaged in War?
It depends on whether the participant is fighting a just war or an aggressive unjust war. God helps Israel in Scripture when they fight in a just war. God even helps them to win.
However, if one in engaged in war for unjust reasons or fighting in an unjust manner, then God will not listen to prayer for the unjust participants or help them win. God will take the part of the just not the unjust. An unjust war is one of aggression to take property, minerals, wealth, slaves, and many other such reasons for such that is not the aggressors right to have or do.
He would listen to unjust to repent and be saved through Jesus if such prayer were sincere and the participant changed their ways to God’s Ways and Will and planned to continue to do so.
