Tariffs cannot take the place of needed taxes. The rich should pay higher taxes as they have higher income [earned each year]. However, the “Rich Group” takes advantage of loopholes, foreign banks [to hide money within], and many other [unknown to me] methods of evading taxes. It would be nice if they just paid their fair share let alone increase their share. The “Rich Group” also gets deals on lesser electricity bills and other utilities.
By the way, Trump, the poor have problems getting their children one doll [not 30 dolls] and often make do with a donated doll from some charity. A poor child has difficulty getting two pencils [not more] and those pencils are often donated pencils by some charity. Trump lives in the World of the Rich and does not understand the reality of the poor or even middle class people. A 5 cent increase is a lot to a poor person. To Trump it is extremely unimportant. Most poor people live hand-to-hand and do not have an extra 5 cents to spend on something.
It seems Trump is not looking at things at the same level as the citizens of the Country he is President.
