If Soc. Sec. crashes or privatized or both, then a lot of Seniors and others will be homeless, without medical care, food, etc. Many will die from lack of medical treatment and homelessness.
Where would privatized Soc. Sec. gets it funding? Would it cover those already on Soc. Sec.? It would take time to set up such a situation and in the mean time, current and incoming recipients would suffer.
Food Cupboards already cannot help all those in need due to lack of distributive items in their stock or coming into their food cupboards. Also, no one can live on just food cupboard foods.
If everyone went on Welfare, the Welfare system would be overwhelmed and run out of money, etc. Also, the workers would be flooded with incoming new applications.
