If Congress and other departments of the Federal, State, and local governments cannot fix Soc. Security, Medicaid, Medicare, Snap, etc, they should ALL be replaced with people who want to try to do their jobs rather than play politics.
If Trump and his Vice President cannot contribute to fixing Soc. Security, then they are not doing their jobs and should be replaced.
There is no reality reason that Social Security should be cut by any mount ever and cola’s reduced or abolished. Congress and other gov’t officials are being paid big dollars to do their jobs and spend big dollars to run for their jobs. If you cannot do or do not want to do the job, do NOT run for it and resign immediately. Get someone in the jobs who can handle the jobs.
People in these positions should be able to allocate for the function of these benefits.
Also, if you cannot handle financing Soc. Security, then you cannot spend money on bombs and other military things you are going to blow up including ships. If you cannot handle the economy, you are also incapable of handling the Pentagon which is more complex.
If Soc. Sec. is cut, especially by $400-500 a month, then there will be a need for special courts and judges to handle all the bankruptcies, which will cost big gov’t dollars. Also, welfare will go up hugely in ALL services thereof. Business groups will lose huge sums due to the cuts as well as spending ability goes down too. That includes doctors, hospitals, etc. Soc. Sec. is not isolated. It affects lots of people, businesses, and even rich people.
