It is Congress’s and the Supreme Court’s job to keep the power level of the President at the level it is designated to be so the President does not become too powerful over the other two sections of the gov’t. The Founding Fathers of America set up our gov’t with three sections so that no section could become all-powerful, a dictatorship, etc. They did not want America ruled by a king and tried to make sure such could not happen.
The President can make suggestions and even veto a bill on his desk, but Congress can override such with a designated percentage of votes on the same bill. However, the President should not “own” Congress or the Supreme Court with overpowering influence.
Even if some GOP, Congress, or Supreme Court member says it is not their job to do such, IT IS STILL THEIR JOB TO REIGN IN THE PRESIDENT or any other section of the gov’t 3 sections if they try to become too powerful.
Trump is not a “strongman”, he is a bully and corrupt.
